Main Branch is a developer newsletter published by Andrea Griffiths at mainbranch.dev. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a subscriber or visitor. We collect as little as possible and never sell your data.

Newsletter Subscriptions

Email subscriptions are managed by Beehiiv. When you subscribe, your email address is stored in Beehiiv's systems. Beehiiv's own privacy policy governs how they handle that data. We use your email address only to deliver the Main Branch newsletter. We do not share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.

Website Analytics

mainbranch.dev uses Umami for privacy-respecting analytics. Umami does not use cookies, does not track individuals across sites, and does not collect personally identifiable information. It records page views and referrers in aggregate to help us understand which content is useful.

What We Do Not Collect

  • We do not use advertising trackers or third-party ad networks.
  • We do not sell, rent, or trade subscriber data.
  • We do not track you across websites.

GitHub Pages Hosting

You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe link in any issue. To request deletion of your subscriber data, reply to any newsletter issue or contact me through the channels listed on the Contact page.
